			<description>Had a brilliant day yesterday hunting the  Harris hawks with Davie and Sophie .Tab did all the hard work with his ferrets, we had the exiting bit ,the birds flew well together and we saw some great flights. We got 5 rabbits probably would have got some more if i had not been chattering quite so much , lol ,but anyway it was a really good day cant wait to do it again.

 Oh and i have now got my new harris hawk &quot;H&quot; who is a lovely little bird and Tab has got my big mean hunting machine  ...</description>

these are described as &quot;greyhound&quot; and in the time honoured tradition of the &quot;blind leading the blind&quot; that seems to prevail on that forum a good deal of backslapping echoed round the thread.



now i know a little about mustelids, i have kept stoats and weasels and my own strain was pretty good until it became too inbred.



greyhound ferrets were thin very long bodied, but very heavy ferrets  ...</description>

Was going to breed off my Jill this year. Have a friend with a male one, so we were going to pair them up.

How do I know when she is in season? Is it best to introduce the male into the females cage or vice versa?

How long would you recommend leaving them together?
