trying to train dogs

Post by mandy on Fri Mar 07, 2008 7:11 pm

armed with my enthusiasm from the weekend i have decided to try and improve my dogs. Bonny has a mind of her own and wont come till she wants, so i have started to use the long line on her, this means she can run off lots of steam but i can get her back. I am using the whistle as her signal to come and making lots of fuss of her when she does come, before she would dash off as soon as i touched her but she has greatly improved since i stared with the long line, i not going to let her loose again till i sure i have got full control i am not going to let a little terrier get the better of me lol.
