dog beds

i sick of buying dog beds only to get them all chewed up i been looking at whats on offer but not seen anything suitable then i seen some very thick rubber matting designed to go in bottom of dog cages thought that might work well as easy to clean etc postage was expensive though so think i will have to go somewhere to pick it up myself wondered if anyone had used it or had any other good ideas it needs to be easy to clean or cheap as we got lots of dogs to replace at moment outside dogs have wood beds ,inside ones have duvet type inside waterproof bags but not much of them left nowhttp://bgstores.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=4193

I just use the plain old plastic bed type

We use straw

my dogs live in a converted stable. their bed consists of a little wall made one concrete block high, five foot wide and 6 foot long. this is covered with decking planks which is threated with preservative.

on top of this goes an old duvet and a load of shredded paper. without the blankets the bed is cool in summer and because of a wood burning stove the whole place is warm and cosy in winter.

im lucky in the sense that my dogs have never chewed past puppy hood.

chilli sauce stops the buggers from chewing in fact you can try alsorts like mustard curry etc i can vouch for the chilli sauce

loads of exercise and channelled behavioural traits does the trick too!
