Beaucerons

Post by Deerty on Sun Feb 24, 2008 6:55 am

altough there reconized as a herding dog, my friend says they make exellent hunting dogs.
i have been poundering about getting a beauceron as it would make a nice sleddog in the winter and hunting in the fallowing seasons.
have any of you worked with these dogs?, had any experience??

anyways if i do get one i will need to socailize it with my sibes as they like to eat other dogs (very possesive) and my leader who is the alpha over the sibes.
any ideas on socailizing tips??

a lady walks one past my house every day!!!!

i got chatting to her and she said her husband bought one as they are meant to be very good guards but with a very gentle nature. like a beefed up lab with a deterent factor

her dog looks like a blue merle coloured rottie gsp cross!!!
