the term is "skylight and seclusion" m8 and it is most usuall to house the male of any species in the pen for a while 1st so the female will be entering his territory. some birds will get on straight away no matter what others will never do so, there is no way of knowing, it is an individual thing, but harrisses are normally fine being so social. the problem ive allways had with harrisses is stopping them breeding with 3 clutches not unusuall? wish i could breed falcons as easily?

update on this is we gave up and used a different male they are quite happy together but never produced any eggs this year think we are going to leave them together and hope something happens next year.
